Treat small animal bites

Animal bites can be scary. But with these tips, you can really bite back.

    Wash and cover

    After applying pressure to stop the bleeding, gently wash the wound with soap and water, apply an antibiotic ointment and cover with a bandage.

    Visit your doctor

    If you were bitten by an animal, wild or domestic, you should see your doctor as soon as you can. Wether you were bitten by a child or an animal or the bleeding doesn’t stop, or there are signs of redness and fever, you should seek immediate medical attention.
