Beef up your bug bite first-aid knowledge with these quick tips

    Use the edge of a credit card, a fingernail, or even a dull knife, to push down and against the skin to get stingers completely out.

    If you’re stung or bitten on your arms or legs, keep them lowered to help keep the venom from spreading.

    For quick relief take an over-the-counter pain reliever, apply an antihistamine or hydrocortisone cream to the area and cover with a cold compress for up to 15 minutes.
